While most school district employees are returning to their schools this week ahead of the new school year, some never left campus.

Cabot High School’s head athletic trainer, Jason Cates, says they have busy summers whether class is in session or not. “Sports don’t stop, injuries don’t stop, so we’re here. Band is usually the one that’s forgotten about, but they’re out here practicing eight hours a day, getting ready for the upcoming season, for football season, for competition season. We’re here non-stop for them,” said Cates.
