CHS Cheer 2022 NATIONAL Champions

For the first time in school history, the Cabot High School Cheer Team are National Champions! On January 22-23, Cabot High School Cheer Team competed with over 300 teams for a National Title in Dallas, TX. Cabot High competed in the Large Varsity Coed Game Day division in which teams from Texas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Arkansas competed. The large varsity division has between 18-30 members and at least 1 boy. There were a total of 8 teams that were in the Large division. Saturday, January 22, Cabot competed and scored a 96.6, putting them in a solid lead. Saturday’s performance was worth 25% of the total performance score while Sunday was worth 75%. Arkansas has never competed at NCA Nationals before. This year, AAA approved the competition and sanctioned the event. Six Arkansas teams competed and two won in their respective divisions. This is the first National title for Cabot.
