The Cabot High School Swim Team competed against eight teams Thursday night, including conference rival and reigning conference champion Conway. The night saw many victories and personal best swims!
Individual victories include Jacob Hertzog in the 200 IM and 100 Fly, Rocco Overton in the 50 Free, Joel Bailey in the 100 Free, Brayden Howard in the 100 Breast, Kyndall Howard in the 200 Free, Bri Mahoney in the 100 Free all three men’s relays in the 200 Medley, 200 Free, and 400 Free. Other top finishers include freshman Jaz Beckham with 2nd place finishes in the 100 back and 50 free, Kyndall Howard 3rd in the 100 back, Brayden Howard 3rd in the 50 free, Rocco Overton 2nd in the 100 fly, Caden Niece 2nd in the 500 free and 100 back, and Joel Bailey 3rd in the 100 back.
Overall, the women finished in 3rd place with 367 points behind Bryant (388) and Conway (555). The men finished in first place by the narrowest of margins with 462 points ahead of Conway (461) and Bryant (293). Both teams performed extremely well considering that other teams had divers scoring in the competition.
