Cabot's defending 6A Central Conference Champion Boys and Girls teams kicked off their season Saturday at the LR Classic at War Memorial Stadium.

We had an elite performance by Myson McFall. He won the Sr boys race out of 256 competitors running a 16;11. He beat the 2nd place finisher by 10 seconds. Boys finished 4th out of 29 teams.

In the Sr girls race we had a runner-up finish by Cady Masters with a time of 19:57. There were 187 competitors in that race. Girls finished 3rd out of 30 schools.

This week we travel to Heber Springs to run in the Josh Park race.
